Jordan Hull is an indie singer-songwriter originally from Dayton, OH – home to Guided By Voices, Kim and Kelley Deal, Dave Chappelle, The Ohio Players, Tommy James and the Shondells, John Legend, to name a few. An unassuming pool of talent and DIY ingenuity.
After guerilla recording his first album in a series of apartments and office buildings in Dayton in 2008 on quarter-inch tape reels with Engineer Patrick Himes, Pat convinced the then 19 year-old songwriter to move to Nashville.
Hull has lived in Nashville for the better part of the decade. Releasing a follow up album in 2012 "Who's Gonna Teach You How To live?" on Philly label Ropeadope (Snarky Puppy/Dirty Dozen Brass Band) and a 3rd full-length to vinyl independently in 2017, "Somewhere Is a Place to Be" as well as 2009's previously unreleased "Grenadine: EP" on cassette. All the while traveling the country playing gigs anywhere that would have him. “It’s a charmed life,” he says with a smile.
Currently Jordan resides in Portland, OR teaching music lessons while exploring the West.
